Visitor Information For Western New York
In this section of ALL Western New York, you will find things of interest to the traveler and visitor to the Western New York region. One of the best features of visiting Western New York is most, if not all of the attractions listed are within a two hour's drive from the Metro Buffalo area. A twenty minute drive takes you to one of the "Seven Wonders of the World", Niagara Falls. There is plenty to see and do there, both on the American and on the Canadian sides. The views are absolutely breathtaking. Other locations include the "Grand Canyon of the East", Letchworth State Park. You will see three large, spectacular waterfalls on the Genesee River. Chautauqua Lake with it's fine fishing, beautiful views and historic Chautauqua Institution and Old Fort Niagara, located on the mouth of the Niagara River at Lake Ontario.
